Beautiful Finds, Meaningful Impact: Meet Clothed With Love

Great style feels even better when it makes a difference! Clothed With Love brings a fresh approach to secondhand fashion to the Shoreline and Lake Forest Park community, combining thoughtfully curated clothing, personal styling, sustainability, and a mission to give back. Founded by a local entrepreneur with a background in fashion and styling at Nordstrom, Clothed With Love is about more than finding a great outfit. It's about helping women feel confident, beautiful, and supported while making more thoughtful choices about what they wear.

A portion of sales supports REST, an organization serving survivors of sex trafficking and exploitation. Clothed With Love is preparing to celebrate its Grand Opening Pop-Up at the Town Center at Lake Forest Park on October 30, inviting neighbors to discover beautiful secondhand finds and be part of something meaningful.

Q & A with Eva, Owner of Clothed With Love

Q: How long have you been in business?
A: We have been in business since May 18, 2026

Q: What inspired you to start your business?
A: What inspired me to start Clothed With Love was the desire to bring together the things I am deeply passionate about: fashion, helping people, and sustainability. I have always loved fashion, but I knew I wanted to create something more meaningful - something that could make a difference in the lives of women and in my community.

I wanted to create a business centered around secondhand fashion because I love the idea of giving beautiful clothing a second life while encouraging more sustainable and thoughtful ways of shopping. At the same time, I wanted fashion to have a deeper purpose beyond simply selling clothes.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with working in the fashion industry, and I’m grateful for the experiences I have had, but I felt called to create something of my own that combined my love for fashion with my heart for serving others.

REST really resonated with me because of their work supporting women and survivors out of the sex and labor trade through shelters, a 24-hour helpline, counseling, and ongoing support. Their mission inspired me to create a business that could also give back and help women in need.

And that’s how Clothed With Love was born- a secondhand, curated fashion shop with purpose, created to bring together elevated everyday style, sustainability, community, and giving back.

Q: What service does your business provide for our community?
A: Clothed With Love gives clothing a second life and women a second chance. We provide our community with a way to shop curated secondhand fashion sustainably, while helping women feel confident and beautiful in what they wear.

Beyond fashion, we’re committed to giving back to women in need within our local community. Our hope is to create a shopping experience that not only makes women feel good about what they wear, but also feel good knowing their purchase can make a difference.

We believe fashion can be a force for good-bringing together confidence, sustainability, community, and purpose.

Q: What do you love the most about Shoreline?
A: What I love most about Shoreline is the strong sense of community and the way people genuinely support one another. As a small business owner, I have felt so welcomed by the community and encouraged by the openness toward Clothed With Love.

I love that there is a shared desire to make the community a better place and to support local businesses that want to make a difference. Being welcomed with open arms has made me even more excited to find ways for Clothed With Love to give back and be a meaningful part of the community.

I am grateful to be building something here that I hope can not only serve the community through fashion, but also give back to the women and neighbors who make Shoreline so special.

Q: Why is your business based in Shoreline?
A: My business is based in Shoreline because my husband and I grew up in the surrounding area and have deep roots in this community. It is an area we love and where we want to plant our roots and build our future together.

Starting Clothed With Love here felt like a natural fit. I want to serve the community that has been such an important part of our lives, build meaningful connections, and give back in a way that makes a positive difference.

Q: What’s one thing you wish your customers knew about you but never ask?
A: One thing I wish my customers knew is that I have a background in fashion and styling. Before starting Clothed With Love, I worked as an Assistant Manager and Personal Stylist at Nordstrom, so fashion has been a big part of my career.

I love helping women feel confident in what they wear, and I want Clothed With Love to be more than just a place to shop. I’d love to be a resource for women who want styling inspiration, outfit ideas, or simply a little help finding pieces that make them feel beautiful and confident.

Q: What inspires you each day?
A: What inspires me each day is my faith in Jesus Christ, my supportive husband, my family, and my friends. I’m incredibly grateful for the people who encourage me, believe in me, and remind me to keep going even when things feel challenging.

And, of course, my 13-year-old pit bull, Otis, brings so much joy and love into my everyday life. 🤍

I am inspired by the opportunity to use what I love, fashion and helping others - to create something meaningful and make a positive difference in the community.

Q: What has been your proudest moment in business so far?
A: My proudest moment so far has been the wonderful connections and partnerships I have made along the way. One that I am especially grateful for is my partnership with Stone Atelier, who welcomed Clothed With Love and gave me the opportunity to host my Grand Opening Pop-Up at the Town Center at Lake Forest Park.

Starting a business can feel overwhelming at times, so having people and local businesses believe in what I am building means so much to me. I am incredibly grateful for the support, encouragement, and relationships I have gained through this journey. For me, those connections are what make building Clothed With Love so special.

Q: How do you approach customer service, and what sets you apart?
A: My approach to customer service is simple: create a warm, welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels valued, respected, and loved. Every person who walks into Clothed With Love is welcomed exactly as they are. I want shopping to feel comfortable, encouraging, and personal-not intimidating.

What sets Clothed With Love apart is the combination of being a local small business with more than eight years of experience in fashion retail and customer service. I have a genuine passion for style and love helping women find pieces that make them feel confident and beautiful.

For me, it is not just about finding the perfect outfit - it is about making every customer feel special, seen, and confident in what they wear. That’s what Clothed With Love is all about.

Q: What advice would you give to someone starting a business in Shoreline?
A: My advice to anyone starting a business in Shoreline is to take it one step at a time and be patient with the process. Things may not always go exactly as you originally planned, and that’s okay. Be willing to pivot, learn, and adjust along the way.

Give your business your time, heart, and 120%, but remember that success doesn’t happen overnight. Keep showing up, build genuine connections within the community, and be present. Get to know your neighbors and fellow business owners, support one another, and don’t be afraid to ask for help.

Most importantly, take care of yourself along the way. Building a business is a journey, and you want to be able to enjoy the journey - not just the destination.

Q: How does your business support or give back to the local community?
A: Clothed With Love gives back by donating a portion of our sales to REST, an organization that supports women and survivors in need. We also believe in keeping clothing in circulation, so pieces that don’t sell are redirected back into the community rather than going to waste.

For us, it’s about creating a positive cycle - giving clothing a second life while giving hope and support to women in need. We believe in circulating fashion and giving hope, one piece of clothing at a time.

Q: If you could change one thing about Shoreline, what would it be?
A: If I could change one thing about Shoreline, I would love to see even more collaboration among local businesses. When small businesses support and promote one another, it creates a ripple effect that benefits the entire community. I think there is so much potential for local businesses to come together and create something really special.

Q: What future plans or goals do you have for your business?
A: My long-term goal is to grow Clothed With Love into a place where more women have the opportunity to shop curated, sustainable fashion - both in person and online. I hope to eventually have a permanent brick-and-mortar location and a dedicated online shop, making it easier for women in our local community and beyond to discover and shop Clothed With Love.

As we grow, I also want to continue building strong community connections, expanding our impact, and giving back to women in need. My goal is for Clothed With Love to grow not just as a business, but as a meaningful part of the community.

Q: What’s your next upcoming event?
A: Our next upcoming event is the Clothed With Love Grand Opening Pop-Up on Friday, October 30, 2026, from 11 AM–4 PM at the Town Center at Lake Forest Park, inside Stone Atelier.

We are so excited to officially introduce Clothed With Love to the community and welcome everyone to come shop curated secondhand fashion, connect with us, and celebrate this special milestone. We can’t wait to see you there!

Q: What do you hope customers feel when they shop at Clothed With Love?
A: I hope every woman who shops at Clothed With Love leaves feeling confident, beautiful, and encouraged. I want shopping to feel welcoming and uplifting - not just like finding a great piece of clothing, but like finding something that makes you feel good about yourself.

I also hope our customers feel connected to the purpose behind their purchase. Knowing that they are choosing secondhand fashion, giving clothing a second life, and helping support women in need makes the experience even more meaningful.
