Meet our Founder, Kate Ledbetter
Kate Ledbetter is the heart behind Destination Shoreline. A second-generation Pacific Northwesterner and Shoreline resident, Kate brings a deep love for local stories, neighborhood pride, and the connections that help a community thrive.
In addition to founding Destination Shoreline, Kate is a dedicated local real estate broker with Windermere Real Estate/Shoreline. Her work in real estate is rooted in the same values that guide Destination Shoreline: helping people feel supported, welcomed, and truly at home in the community. Whether she’s guiding new neighbors in finding their perfect place or sharing insights about Shoreline’s neighborhoods, Kate is committed to strengthening the ties that make our city vibrant.
She plays an active role in community life through her involvement with the Parkwood Neighborhood Association, the Shoreline Chamber of Commerce, and as a graduate of the Shoreline CityWise program. Through storytelling, partnerships, and local advocacy, she works to amplify Shoreline’s small businesses, champion community events, and create opportunities for residents to connect.
Outside of her community and professional work, Kate enjoys life in Shoreline with her husband and their two young kids, exploring parks, supporting local shops, and building the kind of hometown where everyone can feel at home.
