Welcome to one of the most inviting, vibrant, scenic, involved and “event-full” neighborhoods in the region, named one of the 2010 Best Places to Live by Seattle Metropolitan Magazine. Richmond Beach Community Association (RBCA) is a Century Corporation having been incorporated for over 100 years. The Association remains a vital force in maintaining the neighborhood’s quality of life by bringing neighbors together at events, keeping them informed, and facilitating neighborhood enhancements. Our community also has vibrant volunteers dedicated to sponsoring Events throughout the year, and informing and enriching our community by publishing Richmond Beach Community Newspaper and our Email Newsletter. Our newspaper has won "1st Place Winner, Printed Format Newsletter, Not-for-Profit Organization" awarded by NUSA.

Strawberry Festival
Our cornerstone event begins with a parade, and provides games, music performances, food, vendor booths, and of course, strawberry shortcake!

A Look Back in Time…
1909. Richmond Beach Post Office Henry Parry returns from the AYPE having won the prize for the best strawberry in the world. This Post Office building later became JT Holloway's Real Estate and Insurance office, and then became St. John Umbrite's Drug Store.
