2026 World Cup in Shoreline

Seattle is set to make history as one of the 16 host cities across North America for this global event. With an estimated $929 million in economic activity projected for King County, more than $100 million in state and local tax revenue, and over 20,700 jobs supported, this is an unprecedented moment for our businesses and our community. Additionally, we expect 750,000 visitors, nearly equal to Seattle’s entire population, creating a level of tourism impact we’ve never seen before.

To put it in perspective, this event is six times the size of the Super Bowl!
