🌊 Nearby lake life: Lake Ballinger isn’t located within the Ballinger neighborhood or the city of Shoreline (Lake Ballinger is location in the city of Mountlake Terrace (MLT) right on the boarder between MLT and Shoreline). But it’s close enough for the Ballinger neighborhood to carry it’s name sake.

Ballinger Neighborhood Association
The Ballinger Neighborhood Association (BALNA) is a community organization that represents and serves the residents of the northeast corner of Shoreline, Washington. Its purpose is to build community connections, support neighborhood activities, and provide a forum for neighbors to engage with one another and with local issues. Through events like the annual Friendship Festival, neighborhood clean-ups, National Night Out, board meetings, and other community programs, BALNA fosters neighborly engagement, celebrates local culture, and helps address community interests and concerns within the Ballinger area.

Board Meetings & Speaker Meetings
BALNA holds Board Meetings or Speaker Meetings monthly between September and June. Our meetings are currently held on Zoom.
Board elections are held at the June meeting. Currently, the elected officers are completing the first year of their two-year terms. There are board member-at-large positions available. At-large positions may be appointed by the Board at any time. If you are interested in being a board member, please request a Board Candidacy form.
Friendship Festival
The Friendship Festival is a community celebration hosted each year by the Ballinger Neighborhood Association that brings neighbors and local residents together for a fun, inclusive gathering. It features live entertainment, food, activities for all ages, arts and crafts, games, and opportunities to connect with community organizations and one another. The event highlights the cultural diversity of the Ballinger neighborhood, fosters neighborly connection, and creates a welcoming space for people to share food, music, conversation, and friendship.
